DESIGN - ILLUSTRATION
To help future customers on their way with this new product, I created an illustrated guide with instructions on how to secure the BAGTAG on your luggage.
The task at hand
Combining illustrations with their textual instructions, the users needed to be able to secure their tag on their suitcase or bag, without much hassle
Design challenges
The content was the first obstacle since we needed to fully map out the experience in order to determine what content would need to be illustrated and what would need to be written down, since there were 3 ways of securing the tag to your bag. After identifying which illustrations would be used, I was tasked with creating them in a way that made it clear for the user what to do with their tag on what bag.
Design Solutions
To solve the design challenges, I created 3 tracks for securing the tag on your luggage. Hardcase, soft case and for your duffel bag/backpack. I used isometric illustrations in ‘exploded’ view, so that the user could see what needed to go where and when.
